| Abstrakt: | The article reports on the Environmental Protection Agency of Illinois' disapproval of the water quality certification permit for the proposed Tradition Dairy mega-farm on September 7, 2011. It states that the project was scrutinized when a discharged purple liquid was found at the Apple River, a tributary of the Mississippi, which resulted into a backlash. Moreover, it discusses the negative effect of said project, both economically and socially. |
