The article focuses on the role of the U.S. Marine Corps in the improvement of the country's homeland security. The author mentions that the Corps has been assigned as the Marine Forces North (MarForNorth) by the Department of Defense (DoD) to improve collective contributions to homeland defense. He adds that the Corps must play a greater role in improving homeland defense and ensure the public of its versatility and readiness as a unit. |
