Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the recommendation by Allison Holder of Kaizen Business Development for companies to venture capital as a means of financing a business in Barbados. Holder was inspired by the result of a survey on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which has revealed that businesses financed by venture capital, investors or a combination of debt and equity experienced growth. It also offers an overview of venture capital finances, and guidelines to venture capital sources.
