The article describes gates, gatlets and fences of the wooden houses in Žvėrynas district in Vilnius. Stabrauskas introduces types and variations discovered in Žvėrynas in 2008-2010. The sequences (chapters) of the description (catalogue): I. Door type gates. II. Gates and fences with elementary decorations. III. Gatelets with a bent upper line. IV. Fences and gates with an undulating upper line. V. Gates and fences with decorative collumns. VI. Metal gates, gatelets and fences. Miniature fences. Metal decorations stand out in diversity and aesthetics. There are some beautiful examples of decoration, especially containing plant motives, in gates, gatelets and fences from the beginning of the 20th century (for example the gate of 28, D.
