Abstrakt: The article discusses the case of a 5-year-old male patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in remission, who presented with bilateral subretinal leukemic infiltrates and exudative retinal detachment. The patient stabilized systemically after methotrexate chemotherapy and ocular radiotherapy but died from frank bone marrow relapse within a year. External needle drainage of the subretinal fluid and subretinal inflation is noted to increase histopathologic confirmation of ALL relapse.
