Abstrakt: This article discusses how commercial brands are using the architecture of their buildings to convey a message to consumers about the company's brand identity. The author reports how the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW) car manufacturer hired the architect Karl Schwanzer to design their showroom, how the luggage company Rimowa hired the Gatermann + Schossig architecture agency to design their factory, and how architect Manuelle Gautrand designed a building for the Citroën car manufacturer.
