An essay is presented on the ways to self-edit to improve ones writing skills. It discusses techniques to help students improve their writing which include focusing first on ideas and content, commenting on the student's work in a positive aspects, and encouraging students to review their work. The author says that sharing a draft with the class using an interactive white board is one way to teach editing. |
