| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the efforts being made by the pharmaceutical firm Merck in improving the efficiency of its clinical trials as of January 2011. According to the firm's vice president (VP) of late-stage clinical development statistics, Jerald Schindler, the use of electronic data capture (EDC) is important in the management of clinical trials. It cites the adaptive trial designs that are being advanced by Schindler in the company. |
