| Abstrakt: | This article discusses the terra-cotta figures found in excavations by the Greek Antiquities Service in 1959 and 1964 to the sanctuary of Olympia in Greece. Topics discussed include how they found 81 figures that were mostly female, how they built a museum in Olympia shortly after they made the discovery, as well as how the figures have several different languages on them. Archaeologists have estimated the date range of the figures as being from 700 to 400 BC. |
