| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the results of a study that investigates a liver fibrosis induced with dimethylnitrosamine (DMN) in immunodeficient mice. The study methods and measures are described. The DMN mice treated for 6 weeks gradually recovered from histopathological toxic effects, serum biochemical changes and liver lesions. Also noted are increases in iron and extracellular matrix in mice treated with DMN. The study concludes that treatment of immunodeficient mice with DMN for 2 months can induced an appropriate animal model for liver disease. |
