Abstrakt: The article presents an interview with the Chinese painter, performance, and installation artist He Yunchang. He answers questions about his parents' expectations of him, where he grew up, and the natural physical environment of his childhood, which influences his art. Also discussed are specific artworks, such as "When Pigs Can Climb Trees," the action called "Golden Sunshine," and his attempt to hike the entire coast of England while carrying a stone.
