The article presents information about the Q-ships, described as a blatant violation of international law. The concept of the Q-ship was developed by Winston Churchill, then First Lord of the Admiralty in Great Britain, during World War I in an attempt to deal with Germany's U-boats. Q-ships, also known as decoy ships, could be of any size, ranging from small coasters to a major vessel. These ships were intended to conceal guns operated by Royal Navy crews, and some of them were also expected to carry torpedoes and depth charges as well. |
