The author analyzes the effects of drastically reducing company expenditures particularly to those engaged in the U.S. hospitality industry. He comments on the nearly 8 million dollars which a casino operator in Las Vegas, Nevada reportedly awarded to its top executives for their effort in reducing 100 million dollars from the company's operating costs. He stresses that cutting costs that will affect customer satisfaction will be detrimental for a company in the long term. |
