The article offers news briefs related to chemical research in the U.S. Chemistry professor Greg Sotzing and colleagues of the University of Connecticut developed a lower-cost process for making color-changing films using electrochemical polymerization to produce thiophene-based conjugated polymers. Engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) devised a technique in making multilayered sheets of graphene for faster and more efficient transistors, solar cells, and chips. |
