| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study which assessed the suitability of some recycling materials as lightweight fill materials. Experiments were carried out to evaluate geotechnical and environmental characteristics of coal and tire shred materials. Leaching test was also conducted to review the effect of these materials on soil and water quality. According to the study, there will be no problem in terms of strength when these recycling materials are used as fill materials. |
