The article presents research which dealt with an efficient probabilistic model for ductile fracture assessment of pipelines with surface defects. The researchers compared the Abaqus/Explicit 3D analyses with similar Link pipe investigations. They established so-called response surfaces suitable for reliability calculations and illustrated the proposed methodology with examples where the probability of failure is determined. |
