Abstrakt: The article discusses camera-trap surveys of wild cat at the Yungas Biosphere Reserve of north-western (NW) Argentina in 2009 and 2010. The surveys were reportedly designed for continuous forest, sugar cane and citrus plantations and riparian forest corridors. The EcoSim program was utilized in the surveys to determine differences among species in relation to their associations with varied habitats. Among the cat species recorded during the surveys were puma, ocelot and margay. It concludes that the reserve is a viable habitat for the survival of area-demanding wild felids.
