| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on the cost-effective relocation of the Base Realignment and Closure 2005 (BRAC) radar from Rome, New York to Springfield Air National Guard Base in Ohio. The involvement of the U.S. Air National Guard Engineering Installation Squadrons (EIS) and the 213th EIS in Newburgh, New York in the relocation project was found to be beneficial. Remarks from Frank Albanese of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Research Laboratory (AFRL) regarding the savings earned by USAF from the said initiative are also presented. |
