| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on Indian wine entrepreneurs in California including Avtar Singh Sandhu, Raghu Sawkar, and Chris Achar. Singh is the spokesperson for the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association, defending better prices for grapes purchased by winemakers. Sawkar's love for wine leads him to create the Sawkar Family Vineyards in the Sonoma mountains. Chris Achar and his father Ravi Achar partnered with Arnold Peter and Ashok Amritraj to launch Divya Wines in 1996. |
