The article presents a study that investigated body image, weight concerns, eating attitudes, dietary intake, and nutritional status related to eating disorders of female high school students in Taiwan. It involved the collection of data through a written questionnaire answered by a total of 1,605 female high school student-respondents as well as the collection of blood chemistry data. The researchers conclude that disturbed eating attitudes/behaviors exist among female adolescents in Taiwan, and that these behavior jeopardize their nutrition status. |
