The article presents an interview with Juan Antonio Samaranch is presented. He believed that the turning point in the sports for women was the International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in May 1981 where the first woman was elected member. Anita deFrantz has done tremendous effort in ensuring women's place in sports management. He said that IOC has reached an agreement that 20% positions of senior management should be held by women. |
