| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the situation of Las Vegas Monorail Co. (LVMC) wherein it filed for Chapter 11 protection of the Bankruptcy Code on January 13, 2010 in Nevada after it failed to sustain itself. It also mentions that LVMC's primary bond insurer, AMBAC Financial Group Inc., moved to convert the case to a Chapter 9 municipal reorganization but LVMC was ruled not qualified for such move. It also mentions that the inaugural opening of LVMC has been mired in controversy. |
