The author shares her impression on the renovated Museum of the Moving Image, located in Astoria, Queens, New York City. The museum offers a range of educational programs and marketing, workshops, demonstrations and exhibits. The author thinks that the museum excels at educating people who are less familiar with filmmaking, and in offering cinematic insights to amateur as well as professional filmmakers. The author feels disappointed though with the absence of dancing images at the museum. |
