| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on how to manage physician queries in line with the adoption of the electronic health records (EHRs) in the U.S. It highlights the need for organizations, coders and physicians to begin planning for the query process that will merge with ongoing documentation efforts. Moreover, metrics that will measure the success of such management include the reduction of time spent in follow-up on unsigned queries and on the time to obtain a physician signature on a query. |
