The article discusses the Irish undergraduate research practices and policies. It says that the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) standards require undergraduates to attain specialized knowledge and understanding, ability to use and modify advanced skills, and capability to apply advanced skills in research. It mentions two national research initiatives such as the Undergraduate Research Experience and Knowledge Awards (UREKA) funding awards and Undergraduate Awards. |
