Abstrakt:	The article discusses the founding and operations of the Grayslake Heritage Center in Grayslake, Illinois. The ways in which the village and the Grayslake Historical Society secured funding for the historical museum are described. The development of the museum's first exhibition, "Embracing Change: The Growth of Grayslake," is also documented.
