| Abstrakt: | The article discusses a conference held in Salzburg, Austria on December 11-13, 2009 on the role of order and counting in musical records keeping. Topics under examination included counting procedure for works concordances, how to handle musical fragments in works concordances, and the implications of reducing musical works and other artistic productions to lists and numbers. Presentations were given by musicologists including Guido Erdmann, Axel Beer, and Andrea Lindmayr-Brandl. |
