Abstrakt: |
In this article the author discusses the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in Australia which was created by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The author states that the EEZ was created to balance the navigational freedom with the jurisdiction of coastal state. The author also mentions that the International Maritime Organization (IMO) must authorize a mandate of pilotage. |
