An interview with artist and comic book writer Walter Simonson is presented. He talks about changes in coloring and his use of the power of the black color. He says he focuses on composition, storytelling, design and shape and hires colorists who uses color rendering to enhance and not to destroy the composition. His views on textural inking, collaborations with other artists, layouts, structure drawings, sketching and works including "Thor," "Rampaging Hulk," "Hercules,"Hercules Unbound," and "Star Wars" are discussed. |
