In this article, the author describes the Green Valley Region in southern Arizona which is believed to be the favorite place for retirees. The town provides 13 recreational centers which are maintained with the help of Green Valley Recreation, a non-profit services corporation. It is also known for man-made and natural attractions such as the Titan Missile Museum in Sahuarita and Madera Canyon. Educational opportunities are also offered to adults by the Pima Community College's Green Valley Community Learning Center. |
