In this article the authors discuss facial plastic surgery in singers. They note that plastic surgery is common among the general population, including many performers and it is becoming increasing common for younger patients to undergo various plastic surgery procedures. A brief overview of plastic surgery, including its various branches, such as cosmetic surgery, is presented. Also presented is a discussion on the importance of understanding general issues related to facial plastic surgery and special issues that may impact an individual's performance. |
