The use of drugs by UK recreational divers: illicit drugs.

Abstrakt: The article explores the prevalence and kind of illicit drugs utilized by recreational divers in Great Britain. About 479 divers between 16 to 59 years old responded to the anonymous questionnaires. Results reveal that 22% of respondents had used one or more illegal drugs since learning to drive, citing benzodiazepines, cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamines, cannabis, and heroin. In the past three months, 3.5% of survey respondents used illicit drugs, while 3% used them in the past month.
