The article discusses ways to prepare digital images for output. As higher resolution is needed for images intended for printing, the author suggests application of output sharpening to the image, with the use of Unsharp Mask tool in Adobe Photoshop. Images that are for display on liquid crystal display (LCD) screens are to be resized to suit the available screen pixels, with approximately 30 percent of smart sharpening to be applied, using Photoshop. |
