Abstrakt:	The article discusses alternative examples of market-based pricing practices in the future. In Seattle, Washington citizens who pay high real estate taxes can avail of the Firehouse Express which gives callers direct access to the chief of the fire department. Also cited is the 100-dollar Handi-upcharge for those drivers who want to park their cars on a wheelchair space during downtown lunch hour, and the Animal Crackers Ticket that gives Woodland Park Zoo visitors a front row seat to all animal shows.
