Abstrakt: | An essay is presented on the alleged collaboration between William Shakespeare and Ben Jonson in authoring Shakespeare's play "Hamlet." It evaluates some key and influential claims made by author Michel Foucault and his several followers with regards to the collaborative trait of early modern drama. It also explores the poetic war between Jonson and Shakespeare and compares them with "Hamlet" characters King Claudius and Priince Hamlet. An overview of the novel is also offered. |
