Information about a presentation at the 2010 National Federation of the Blind convention held in Dallas, Texas is presented. Topics include lack of teacher training in Braille, online Braille education and a research study on how university instructors teach Braille to future teacher to be published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness. The presentation featured Sheila Amato, teacher of blind and visually impaired students. |
