Chapter 8 of the book "Monoprinting" is presented. It describes several innovative and digital techniques in creating monoprints. African American artist Willie Cole's method involves heating an iron to a high temperature then applying it to various surfaces with intense pressure. Meanwhile, the technique employed by New York artist David Hamill in the series "Epidemic Landscape" combined the conventional use of stencils, and woodblock stamping on surfaces. |
