| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a study on the use of computer simulation software to revamp and streamline the operations at Carilion Clinic Physicians in Roanoke, Virginia. Findings showed computer simulation as an effective analytical tool for designing efficient staffing, centralizing services and improving patient flow. The four research objectives aimed by the study to address, which include examining the impact of a centralized call center for appointments and preregistration, are outlined. |
