The article offers the author's insights on the need for progressives to start a campaign of explaining American history from progressive point of view. The author refers to the commencement address delivered by U.S. President Barack Obama at the Knox College in 2005. The author says that Obama failed to sustain his ability to put forward a narrative regarding the story of the progressive American past. Accordingly, he calls for progressives to oppose conservative campaign of revising history. |
