The article discusses the seismic investigation activities that were conducted on board the R/V Polarstern in the northern Baffin Bay in Greenland in 2010. It cites the three marine seismic techniques used in the study, namely, the multi-channel seismic (MCS) to record the reflected waves, the sonobuoy measurements for refracted waves and the ocean bottom seismometer (OBS) for wide angle seismics and refracted waves. The Greenland National Environmental Research Institute (NERI) approved the seismic studies. |
