The article discusses highlights of the Australian Geography Teachers' Association (AGTA) Conference entitled "Geography for a New Millennium" which was held at Sydney University in New South Wales on January 10-14, 2000. Details of the advertising and registration for the conference are provided. Shayne Smith was appointed to raise sponsorship finance for the event. The keynote addresses were considered superior and activities such as those at the Homebush Bay also attracted favourable comments. |
