Abstrakt: Spectral analysis of electric light sources was carried out. Emission spectra were measured for markedly available lamps used for illumination houses and offices. Amount of UV energy in energy saving lamps spectra is up to 15%, in incandescent lamps 2%, in LED is within experimental error 0%. Perhaps wearing protective glasses for reading should be considered in a case of energy saving lamps light, similarly as in a beach, snow or mountains, sun protecting glasses are recommended.
