This article presents the developments concerning 28 U.S.C. § 1581 (D) and (G) and 28 U.S.C. § 1582 (1) in 2009. Mentioned in the article is the case of former employees of Invista, S.A.R.L. v. U.S. Secretary of Labor, the plaintiffs were customer service workers employed by Invista at its plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee who were laid off because the company moved all manufacturing to Mexico. Former employees of Warp Processing Co. v. U.S. Department of Labor is another similar case discussed in the article. |
