Abstrakt: The article presents the results of a 2011 study on the development of an aluminum-copper-magnesium alloy appropriate for use under the "press-sinter-size" technology. All the stages of the production process as well as the properties of the finished product are assessed and discussed. The study showed that, in terms of processing response and the products' final tensile properties, alloy materials provide important advantages over current commercial systems.
