| Abstrakt: | The article features drummer Jaki Liebezeit. According to Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche, he instantly admired Liebezeit's music when he first heard him playing with Can due to his solid feet and use of dynamics and ghosting to enhance the groove. He is known for deviating from the dominant progressive-rock drumming of the 1970s by creating a groove-based approach. He did not perceive repetition as a lack of creativity but ensured that his beats were interesting to avoid becoming monotonous. |
