The article discusses the significance of the roof in the industrial and commercial construction. It notes that the roof has the greatest part and function in a constructed building because of its purpose as the protection to the inner space. It says that the roof is considered as the fifth facade because it focuses on the energy efficiency. It mentions that U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said that 40 percent of landfill waste is acquired from construction supplies debris. |
