This article discusses the economic importance of the Los Llanos region in the province of La Rioja, Argentina during the colonial period. It examines the commercial relationships created, especially during the 18th century, some of which continued through the 20th century. The authors also analyze the family structure in the region from a socio-economic and demographic perspective. |
