Abstrakt: The article presents the key results of the 2004 International Crime Victimisation Survey (ICVS) in Australia. It provides vital information on the risk factors associated with victimisation, unreported crime and fear of crime that can inform future prevention of crime the reduction of criminal activities in the country. It offers a variety of crime and safety topics based on detailed analysis of the survey result and provides several charts showing the key results of the 2004 ICVS which notes the decline of recent crime rates and fear levels since the last survey in 2000.
