Abstrakt: The article focuses on the impact of e-commerce among U.S. music merchandisers. Acoustic Corner's Stephanie Wilds said that she is not for e-commerce for music retailers as it would be impossible for her to run a service-driven showroom and maintain a competitive business at the same time. Mark Lisle of Lisle Violin Shop in Texas has been using the Internet since 1995 to disseminate information about their inventory but is hesitant to venture into online selling as he believes that it is only designed for small purchases.
