The article offers responses to the question of what advice a veteran-self could offer if given the chance to go back and speak to his first-year teacher self. University educator Tim Murnen wrote his response as a letter reflecting on what they have learned from their daily work as a teacher. Some advice that high school English teacher Carol Ann Hart offered to her first-year self include becoming a lifelong learner, reading professional publications and joining professional publications. |
